Aymeric Silvert – Guitariste, chanteur, compositeur & pédagogue
Issu d’une famille de musiciens, Aymeric Silvert baigne très tôt dans un univers artistique éclectique. S’il débute par la batterie, c’est finalement à la guitare qu’il consacre sa vie. Devenu professionnel à 22 ans, il enchaîne concerts, tournées et séances de studio, construisant une carrière aussi riche que variée.
En 1995, il fonde avec son frère jumeau Damien le groupe Century Scream, formation de rock progressif avec laquelle il tourne intensément, partageant l’affiche avec des groupes comme Vanden Plas, Ange, Superior ou Edgy. Le premier album, sorti en 1998, bénéficie de la participation prestigieuse de Patrick Rondat et Jean-Claude Rapin. Le second opus, en 2001, marque une ouverture à l’international et une maturité musicale affirmée.
Parallèlement, Aymeric développe une solide carrière de guitariste de studio et de sideman, intervenant sur de nombreux albums aux styles variés, et accompagnant sur scène des artistes de tous horizons. Il lance ensuite son propre projet solo, qu’il définit comme de l’“open rock”, une musique sans frontières où se mêlent rock, blues, métal, country, ballades et ambiances cinématographiques.
Son premier album solo, Guilty (2010), reflète cette richesse d’influences. Cette même année, il assure une tournée de 20 dates en France et en Suisse aux côtés de Steve Lukather (Toto).
Reconnu également pour ses talents de pédagogue, Aymeric obtient le DE et le très sélectif CA de professeur-coordonnateur en Musiques Actuelles, distinction détenue par une trentaine de musiciens en France. Il devient alors professeur-coordonnateur de guitare au conservatoire de Cambrai (59), tout en multipliant les masterclasses, très suivies, partout en France.
Il est également l’auteur de la méthode « Organisez votre jeu avec le CAGED », devenue une référence pour les guitaristes francophones. Son expertise est régulièrement sollicitée dans les magazines spécialisés.
En 2014, il sort son deuxième album solo I’m Back, entièrement chanté en anglais. Axé sur le songwriting, ce disque plus introspectif affirme une écriture personnelle et une identité artistique forte. Une œuvre saluée par la critique comme un « album de la maturité ».
Côté scène, Aymeric a partagé la scène ou collaboré avec des musiciens de renom : Steve Lukather, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns N' Roses), Guthrie Govan, Patrick Rondat, Christophe Godin, Fred Chapellier, Gaëlle Buswel, Laurent Vernerey, Jean-Claude Rapin, Jean-Marie Ecay, entre autres. Il a aussi rencontré des figures emblématiques comme John Petrucci, Slash, Andy Timmons, Steve Morse, Greg Howe, ou encore Didier Lockwood.
Depuis 2001, Aymeric est endorsé par MusicMan/Ernie Ball USA, et réalise depuis 2008 les démonstrations officielles de la marque en France. En 2021, il devient partenaire de SAVAREZ, grande maison française de cordes.
Il prends la direction du DALIDA INSTITUTE (école de chant d'excellence sur Aix-en-Provence) en 2022.
En 2025, il rejoint l’équipe du magazine Guitar Part, pour lequel il produit des contenus pédagogiques réguliers (vidéos, rubriques), tout en préparant une tournée de concerts et de masterclasses en solo — électrique et acoustique — mêlant virtuosité, émotion et partage.
Une musique ouverte, sincère, vibrante
L’univers musical d’Aymeric est à son image : généreux, sans étiquette. Dans ses concerts, on retrouve des fans de Pink Floyd, Muse, Joe Bonamassa, Tommy Emmanuel ou Toto — tous séduits par son jeu de guitare expressif, sa voix chaleureuse, et une présence scénique fédératrice.
Ses compositions, entre puissance et délicatesse, sont autant de voyages sensoriels. On y retrouve une énergie brute, des guitares tantôt sensuelles, tantôt incisives, et un goût assumé pour les contrastes. Son chant en anglais lui permet d’exprimer une palette d’émotions sincères, avec une élégance rare.

Born into a family of musicians, Aymeric Silvert was immersed from an early age in a richly eclectic artistic environment. While he started out on drums, it was ultimately the guitar that captured his heart and shaped his life. By the age of 22, he was a full-time professional musician, performing live, touring, and working in studios, steadily building a diverse and accomplished career.
In 1995, he co-founded the progressive rock band Century Scream with his twin brother Damien. The band performed extensively, sharing stages with groups such as Vanden Plas, Ange, Superior, and Edgy. Their debut album, released in 1998, featured special guest appearances by Patrick Rondat and Jean-Claude Rapin. Their second album, in 2001, marked an international breakthrough and demonstrated a more mature, refined sound.
Alongside his band projects, Aymeric built a strong reputation as a studio guitarist and sideman, playing on numerous recordings across a wide spectrum of styles, and performing live with artists from many different backgrounds. He later launched his solo project, which he describes as “open rock” — a genre-defying mix of rock, blues, metal, country, ballads, and cinematic atmospheres.
His first solo album, Guilty (2010), showcases this broad range of influences. That same year, he joined Steve Lukather(Toto) on a 20-date tour across France and Switzerland.
Widely recognized for his skills as a music educator, Aymeric holds both the DE and the highly selective CA diplomafor coordination and teaching in Contemporary Music — a qualification held by only about thirty professionals in France. He went on to become guitar coordinator and professor at the Cambrai Conservatory, while also giving masterclasses all over the country to enthusiastic audiences.
He is the author of the acclaimed instructional book “Organisez votre jeu avec le CAGED” (“Organize Your Playing with CAGED”), now considered a go-to reference among French-speaking guitarists. His educational insights are also regularly featured in specialized music magazines.
In 2014, Aymeric released his second solo album I’m Back, sung entirely in English. Focused on songwriting and personal expression, this introspective work reveals another facet of his artistry and has been praised as a mature and compelling musical statement.

Since 2001, Aymeric has been endorsed by MusicMan / Ernie Ball (USA), and since 2008, he has been the official demo artist for the brand in France. In 2021, he joined forces with the prestigious French string company SAVAREZ as an official artist.
In 2022, he took over as Director of the Dalida Institute, a leading vocal and performance school based in Aix-en-Provence.
In 2025, he joined the editorial team of Guitar Part magazine, where he contributes regular educational content (videos, columns), while preparing a new solo tour of concerts and masterclasses — both electric and acoustic — combining technique, emotion, and musical storytelling.
